looks like you altered the view / camera in your render compared to the others - 2 lights not in the view + no red teapot pedestal on the l/h side...

                    • It's a Q6600 stepping B3 with an ASUS P5K Deluxe

                      BIOS settings (manual):

                      FSB speed: 440 Mhz
                      CPU multiplier: 7
                      CPU voltage: about 1.3 V
                      FSBRAM ratio 1:1
                      RAM speed: 880 Mhz

RAM settings are the settings recommended by the RAM's manufacturer for my model: Corsair PC8500 C5D
                      5-5-5-15 @ 2.20 V

I reached 3 220 Mhz but an error occured after 40 min at full load and the temperature reached 60 °C for the hottest core.

Now with Q6600 stepping G0, you can easely aim 3,2 Ghz with aircooling

                            • Just ran it on my Q6600 G0 no OC at the moment on a P5B Deluxe and got 2m20s with alot of stuff going on in the background.

WIth OC would expect mid 1's

Runs so much cooler than my E6420 even at stock. Amazing CPU!!!

                              • My little dual core is not too far behind, I should have gotten the q6600 for the same price, but I lapped and polished the duo so that's not an option now. :P

Anyone have a q6850 yet? Those babies should cruise pretty good, bit pricey at $1000 us though.

I'll just wait for the 8 cores, maybe next quarter? Hope they are still 775.
