It also catches wired parameters as animated even though there's no actual animation in the scene. In some of my materials I have several values wired to other materials so that I don't need to update, for example, a UV size on all of the maps. I stripped it out for the test but can this be fixed or bypassed?

      who ever send "test_808__RebusFarm_Test_.max"

you found a bug - congratulations

elements name must be unique - doubble names cause error in render

      detailed info for the image:
      LC GI = 7euro55
render = 28euro65 ( will be much lower soon! )
      2560x1536 px
single PC = about 6-8 hour
      farm time = 10min

for wire parameter - who the heck use it for still images ? - lets see what I can do

      --- new no-go for beta ---
element names must be unique - no doubble names allowed

      a.

That'd be me. What do I win??

BTW the image rendered fine but came back with the wrong gamma, basically it looks like it was rendered out of the max frame buffer rather than the Vray one. I thought I had checked the "Gamma is enabled" box so I'm not sure what happened.

OT: For the wired parameters, anyone know of a way to connect values from one map to another besides wired parameters? Instancing the map doesn't work becasue I just want some of the values to match up not the entire map. Does Max have anything equivalent to Expressions in Maya?

Not sure how expressions in Maya work but you can use expression controllers for most subtracks in Max

Thanks, that'll do it. It seems a little cumbersome though from my maya experience. Having to create a separate expression for each track rather than one expression that controls whatever you want as long as you use the right syntax.

Yeah, I know it was listed as a warning, but I couldn't get it to continue and send it to the manager until I changed the value. Believe me, I wanted to settle with the 1500 subdivs as I had from start =)

                  hiho

the Beta is over - thx to all participants

the new installer of the Farminizer tool is avaliable on webside
we will try to support more output format like EXR HDR and to reduce the no-go restrictions to get it neatless into your workflow

the Farminizer is a plugin for 3dsmax and designed to submit your job to render by pressing ONE button
the plug will prompt all potential user errors and follys and filter all no-goes

                  how it work ?
