don't forget to install the hotfix for 3dsMax 2010 right after you installed 3dsMax2010...

What are Autodesk like, I've just downloaded 2010 from my subscription account, i've still got 2009 in it's unopened box as I dare not move from 2008 just yet ! Is it just me or are they releasing stuff just too damn often ? Also apparently 2010 is 'very' different with over 500 new features ! Hell I need a time machine just to keep up......

Well I skipped 2008 (Max9 was HORRIBLE at first -totally unstable and buggy), but I LOVED 2009 -super stable, awesome release. 2010 has lots of cool stuff, but I'm going to keep 2009 installed, just in case...

Hello,

i did a fast install yesterday of design2010.
It's quite the same as 2009, they changed a little the layout/menus.
What is cool,is the hadware soft shadows and AO in the viewport ( i was hoping for this for fast cool looking animation previews).
For the rest, cannot say yet.

3dsmax 2010

I just installed max2010, the gui is different it is all like vista, it is weird it changed a lot !
But, there is no vray for it, so I will just leave it there, while vray is out : )
