fantastic shader!.
What about including Damascus metal in your shader and tutorial?
I've been trying through OSL without success so far

Wicker is something very tricky too, not easy to get it photo real from shader and modelling takes ages!

I too would LOVE to hear about powder coats. We have had to do several animations with them lately and they are brutal!
What would be a the better approach to the powder coat materials? I figured I would be in sampling hell anyways.

Very first attempt.
There are a lot of errors in the procedural itself but I'm just trying to figure out the glossiness values atm and the brdf curve.

Procedural, for example, are impossible to predict and understand, so I went back to basic bitmap.
