Have here a problem actually , for some reason when i import a VDB file from houdini to VRayVolumeGrid - it is empty. Though i'm pretty sure it should be fine , as it weights about 10mb , and in houdini it previews fine. That should be some settings in VRayVolumeGrid ? In input size it is empty and looks like a point for some reason.

Didn't u merge volumes in one ? There were some problems with that, 'coz H can merge volumes in various ways...
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?

Yeah well i'm kinda new in Houdini Though i resolved issue - problem was VDB converting node - some parameters in it were wrong.

only if you render in geometry mode which is very slow to get the same look
i suppose this is to be expected and i ended up doing a zdepth in a seperated pass with low bounce settings to get around this

Yeah looks like for now this is the only way.
