Oh and it has crashed a few times but I save a lot..seems to crash when I had two instances of max opened up...doing simple stuff...was too busy to go down that rabbit hole...sent my error reports to adesk

I fired it up today.....things have disappeared while editing...slowly getting used to the silly icon changes...DWG import does not remember units settings. Might as well use it as I paid for it...I dig the "all layers on" button.....new color scheme kinda hard to read sometimes but maybe it's my age catching up with me

Who's going to be the first person to use 3DS MAX 2017 on a live project? I don't know if I can take these small 2016 text boxes and icons much longer. I am actually using my iPhone to take a photo so I can zoom in. I know, it is pretty sad! Also, if things are still disappearing when you try to edit them, in 2017, I will throw in the towel.

I think the better plugin companies (itoo) have a close relationship to chaosgroup and access to prereleases so they can prepare their plugins for release too.

The problem comes when there are some daily used plugins, which are waiting for Vray to release, before they can recompile their plugin...

Absolutely agree with taking the time needed - also the team taking a well deserved bank holiday . Know there are many new features with both Adv and RT and prefer Chaos be happy with everything before the release.

No need to hurry and make an half-release available. I'd rather Chaos guys take their time and not get the Autodesk syndrom

    Salut Kib

Just for my curiosity, what kind of "no-go" bugs did you have with 3dsmax 2016 ?
