Thanks a lot for the scene! Some fixes didn't make it into the release and had to be delayed for the hotfix, but it's good to have the scene to test. I will let you know when I confirm if everything is ok.
Best regards,
VladoI only act like I know everything, Rogers.

So this will be fixed properly for the hotfix, but in the meantime, the artifacts in the RGB channel will go away if you disable the "Max ray intensity" option in the Settings tab of the render setup dialog.

Best regards,
VladoBTW, Did Max Ray Intensity slow down renders? If my memory serves me right, the higher MRI is, the slower rendering is and setting it to a very low value gives a good render speed boost, but unfortunately, at the expense of darker rendering results. Correct me if I'm wrong, but disabling MRI is the physically correct way to render as it doesn't limit the ray intensities? Of course, as I mentioned, drawback is fireflies and slower rendering.

Anyways, i tried to render with disabled "Max ray intensity" option, but i can still see the blocks in beauty/rgb, above sofa. It is more visible when viewing in linear instead of sRGB/OCIO. this region is 0.005 and 10000 samples.Last edited by psanitra; 06-06-2019, 11:32 AM.Noemotion.net - www.noemotion.net

It's limited in that it won't deal directly with lumps of fireflies, but it will work with successive applications.
In this case the fireflies produced by disabled or very high Max Ray Intensity would be gone and Adaptive dome would work as expected? Just a guess, of course.
If you let a render run with unlimited max subdivs, those fireflies would theoretically converge into proper lighting, sooner or later.
At any noise threshold, however, they currently still require loads of samples and often end up "capping" max AA subdivs.
Whichever way you look at them, they are a veritable nuisance.
Hopefully things will improve for these soon enough.

i can show you a glaring (ah-ah.) example.
