Looks like the mapping is different, check/Redo the UVW's?

Exact same copy - checked the UVWs too. Here's a different scene with same mat. I didn't let it finish:

Here's the file in case anyone wanted to toy around with it:

            reset xform

reset xfrom from the the utilities panel, then collapse and re-apply your uvw's amd displacemap.
            Might help.

Ok, it appears that the problematic piece of glass had the UVW applied while in subobject mode.
Whereas the other panes have the UVW map applied normally

Remove the UVW map, turn off subobject mode and reapply it. Problem appears to be fixed. (couldnt be assed waiting for whole render but the LC looks correct now)

Originally there were two seperate mats in sub-object mode as stated. One was a plain glass for the back/sides, and the front had the vray displacement map on it.

I thought it would be possible to shift+click copies and that it would reproduce itself with similar subobject UVWs. It looks as if this loses these properties.

weird, cause shift dragging should make an identical copy of what you just cloned.

Ah well it least you can make it work now.
