    Dark Shadows

One thing I am noticing is my shadows are really dark. It is only in the Building Light Cache phase, but I can already tell. Anything I should do or should I just take care of that in post?

I don't know why you think your shadows are too dark maybe you can post another image.
As far as vary sun/sky and vray cam goes I usually use something around following settings.
      ISO: 100
      shutter speed: 200
      f-number: 8

I don't burn the gamma into the image usually so i leave the color mapping gamma at 1 and press the rgb button of the VFB.
Now you are saying that your monitor gamma is 1 but your are setting your gamma at 2.2??? I don't understand. If you monitor is aclibarted at gamma 1 then your gamma should be set to 1 as well. But maybe i am wrong there and a "LWF specialist can confirm or correct.

I am fairly new in posting here so i don't know how to paste in a picture like you did otherwise i would have shown you an example.

        sRGB

My understanding is gamma 2.2 in v-ray is for v-ray's buffer and is the same as the sRGB button that you find on the VFB.

Heheh yes i know that but your monitor has to be calibrated to that gamma then that was my point.

            Look at this thread

            http://www.chaosgroup.com/forum/phpB...ic.php?t=15303

If your momitor is calibrated at gamma 1 then i think you should look at the 3rd method

              Gamma1

How would I know if my LCD was calibrated to gamma 1? I assumed all were. I use Spider Pro, but at no point does it tell me.

                  Calibration

Good question. I'll have to recalibrate.

                  Here are some tests.

So if you recalibrate your monitor then i would suggest to make it act like a crt monitor meanind calibrate it to 2.2 gamma. This might not be easy but i think that is the prefered option.

                        Gamma

Yep 2.2 looks good here to, but it is the same as gamma 1 sRGB save as an EXR.

                          Yes of course.
If you save it to float you don't have to do anything but if you save it to 8 bit then ou have to outputit to gamma 2.2

                            Exposure

Ok. I have the front of my building looking good, but a little flat. I'll do some PS to get some pop. My question is I am rendering the back and the back is all in shade. Should I leave my v-ray camera settings the same and do a shadow/highlight in PS or should I re-expose my camera?

it is a different camera. How would you handle an animation?
