All of my tests were done using LC & IR and they were painfully slow.

its a shame AD let user pay to debug there software
instead of been glad and thankful for bugreports they charge (per year) 1200$ to 25.000$(!) for an ADN membership

I found a bunch of bugs in the last yeras but noone is interested
Reseller, Neuchâtel , support - noone cares or can help
all I can do is postin in Area or pay the ADN

              ridiculous

                Well... ADN give you
                # access to almost all Autodesk software and SDK’s
                # technical assistance
                even
                # on-site API training(Includes all Autodesk travel and living expenses)

If you are professional developer, it is not a bad deal.

Holy Crud! They've got to get this fixed!

This is killing me! I need 2010 features and can't use it.

2010 doesn't work with LogMeIn (which I use all the time to access my main workstation when I'm working in client's offices) either. The File menu and the modeling ribbon are invisible when remote controlling the computers. 2009 works fine. So for me 2010 is double useless...

I feel honored that I motivated you to make your first post since subscribing in 2003.

Well it was a matter of time with 2010 biting the ass of early adopters, a good advice is to, if possible, always stay one version behind, or wait for service packs.

That's hard to do when your on subscription, the thought of all that money sitting on the shelf not doing anything bothers me. Honestly though how hard can it be for Autodesk to do some descent beta testing?

Hi, service pack 1 for Max 2010 has been plublished.
                          They say:
"When using Bitmaps in scenes, render times could increase; this degradation was more noticeable as the number of machine cores increased. This degradation in performance has been corrected."

Could somebody try to test the speed agaist 2009 again? (I'm out of the office)

In the readme I came across this:

                                Bitmap Pager—User Interface Updates

                                · Some scenes rendered slowly because of the Bitmap Pager. The option to disable the Bitmap Pager functionality is now available in the Bitmap Proxies global settings dialog.

NOTE: The scene must be reloaded for the changes to take effect.

When it says 'some' does it actually mean 'nearly all'? And do I have to manually disable the bitmap pager on each scene?
