Render elements rawreflection and rawlighting creating white pixels around silhouette

Ok
That means we have to output them all in 3ds max but when we comp we use only rawlighting and diffuse filter (we don't use in comp the lighting pass that is just needed internally by vray 3). Is that correct?
But that's exactly what I did for my current project and I still get white border around my lighting pass (and also a bit in ref pass and sometimes even specular).
Also I noticed the white border is reduced when I interpret the alpha as a straight in after effects instead of the default premultiplied. but it's still there and it's there in some silhouette that are inside the alpha so I can't remvie them completely by tweaking the alpha.

I sent the files.
you can see the result of this scene here: first a the top, this is the comp in after effects witht that huge white border and then below is the beauty pass that look ok. The white is impossible to remove completely in comp cause there is some on the border of the sphere in front of another sphere that is not part of the alpha. Also in the corners of the alpha it's very hard to remove.
My shader is very dark and it is a bit over expose to get this result. If I use a default grey shader it looks a bit overexposed. but stil I don't understand why the element don't give the same result as the beauty.
The white is caused mostly by the rawlighting pass but also by the rawreflection.
And here is the scene too if someone want to try. And there is inside my nice chocolate shader for free if you want it by the way.: http://www.phylacterecola.com/strob/...efPass_002.rarLast edited by jstrob; 08-10-2014, 01:55 PM.

Ok I am sorry cause I was able to fix this and there is no bug in vray with the raw elements!
What I had to do is just make some fixes in my comp in after effects:
I just had to make sure the following elements's alpha interpretations were set to "Ignore":
VRayReflection Filter
VRayRawReflection
VRayDiffuseFilter
In my case I didn't need to ignore the alpha for the VRayRawLighting but when I ignored it it gave the same result so may be better to ignore it too.
then if you have a background to add under them it must be in the same precomp as your vray elements or you have to apply an alpha on top of your elements's precomp.Last edited by jstrob; 08-10-2014, 04:12 PM.

That was not the first time I use raw elements. I use them since a long time in fact. But in that case because my scene was a bit overexposed with a dark shader and because I have a lot of light coming from the back I could not fix the alpha by applying the beauty pass's alpha to my comp like I did usually. But it's good to know that I don't need to do this at all if I ignore those elements's alpha channel. I am even wondering if vray should output those without alpha?

Ok,
Also the corresponding needed elements for any raw elements should be added automatically when adding those raw elements to avoid user mistakes.

Yes it would be better with a warning question like: "do you want to add also those elements needed for proper rendering of this pass..." and a checkbox to stop asking for this session and remember the answer for subsequent actions.
