  • Amb. occlusion & Render To Texture

    Turning on Amb. occlusion in the Global illumination rollout, causes weird issues with Render To Texture. I didn't get a screenshot, but it was causing a strange patterning over the UV's. I just turned it off and now the object is baking correctly.

    I could setup a test scene to double check and share if needed.

    Not really surprising because the gi AO is based on what your screen sees I believe. What you can do is use a vraylight material with a dirt in it and that'll bake fine.

      Oh good point. A dirt map will work for this case since I'm using a single vray mat across the scene.
