MAX 2017 Freeze

I don't know if it is a V-Ray thing or a MAX thing, but MAX freezes if I pick the VFB too soon after a render is complete.

When I say freeze, I mean ctrl-alt-del freeze. If I cancel a render, the VFB sits there with frozen buckets.

I can't reproduce it here, can you attache your file ?

.02. It's not crashing on this second project, but 4-5 times on another one I was working on today. I'll see if I can reproduce it here.

It is happening on this scene. If I click to fast, everything freezes.

Actually, it happens regardless if I click anything or not. It'll freeze 2-3 times and maybe the 4th time it'll work. I have to ctrl-alt-del to get out.

It might be a physical camera issue. I think I started this in 2016, but I am not sure. Picking a camera also freezes MAX. Also, I noticed that you can't merge camera or lights, which is really odd.

I have tried to click slow and fast, to rotate and select cameras, move objects etc but couldn't reproduce the issue.
Is there a chance to capture the actions you take into your environment on video so I could try to replicate them in the exact same way?

I've had some similar crashing experiences caused by some past version of Omnitiles/Walls&Tiles. Maybe it's not thew same, but worth checking?

This is a very basic model without any materials. It's pretty consistent here. I'll see if I can record it.

It froze my first try. It was when I picked a camera.

It seems to happen only during or after a render. Here it is directly after a render.

If I don't render, nothing freezes. It is freezing when the render finishes or after a render and I pick a physical camera.

I managed to reproduce the issue but not sure if is somehow related to V-Ray.
Will discuss it with our developers and will keep you posted.

Thanks for the videos by the way, it would be very difficult to reproduce the issue without triggering the correct actions.
