    Would be awesome to have Chromatic Aberration directly in the Frame Buffer.

    thumb up on that idea. I also missed something like that once.
    not everyday use, but to ctrl the vividness of it would be good from time to time, as I found on last task about some glas here I had to render

              Its not technically correct, but you can get a lot of nice photographic chromatic looks using coloured ramps as camera aperture maps. I controlled some colour fringing in high contrast areas in this shot using that technique.

                  This is available since many years, just add a custom map to simulate dispersion inside the physical camera DOF slot.

                    The chromatic aberration effect is now part of the VFB with the newest V-Ray 6 Update 2.
