Any news on this?, I hate working with the vray phys cam because of this, it is too clumsy to move your cam around as oposed to perspective, I always have to selct the cam first to adjust exposure settings, etc.

Indeed the best way I guess, is to implement the control as suggested in the environment rollout, where you have a vray exposure control a la mental ray photographic expsoure control. You can also add the color mapping in there as well, creating one nice floating window to control all your exposure/tone/color/mapping.

    pros:
-this way you have constant acces to your exposure settings in a floating window, no more need to select your camera to adjust exposure
-unifies with mental ray workflow, makes it easier for mental ray users to adjust to vray
-no more need to go to the color mapping tab in render settings

I hope that plugin gets implemented in a sp or 2.0.

Vlado, would the exposure control in the environment dialog be a specific VRay plugin or willl it just utilise the existing plugins? i.e. Logarithmic exposure etc

            - If I want to work how I do (lots of quick region renders from perspective view/different angles) I need to relight the entire scene to match theirs. Or create about 10 new cameras a minute just to be able to check if the materials look good in that particular lighting setup.
Changing the lighting isnt exactly the best way though, because it takes ages and they might be taking the scene back after me, wanting their original lighting back which i've just broke.
Kind of a side note here, but I can't believe you guys work that way. The problems outlined above are great reasons why everyone should be using the same workflow. Am I way off on this?

I have been looking for a feature like this for some time now. Good news that it has materialized!

When do you think we could expect more news on 2.0? To be honest, all I really want is another record-smashing post count thread like the good old "Important VRay 1.5 announcement"
