Any news on this?, I hate working with the vray phys cam because of this, it is too clumsy to move your cam around as oposed to perspective, I always have to selct the cam first to adjust exposure settings, etc.
Indeed the best way I guess, is to implement the control as suggested in the environment rollout, where you have a vray exposure control a la mental ray photographic expsoure control. You can also add the color mapping in there as well, creating one nice floating window to control all your exposure/tone/color/mapping.
pros:
-this way you have constant acces to your exposure settings in a floating window, no more need to select your camera to adjust exposure
-unifies with mental ray workflow, makes it easier for mental ray users to adjust to vray
-no more need to go to the color mapping tab in render settings
I hope that plugin gets implemented in a sp or 2.0.
