  • Stereoscopic vray physical camera

Yes, I know, there are several scripts or plugs to implement stereoscopic cameras inside Max.
I use XidMary and I constrain vray cameras to this rig, I can animate the toening but this plug doesn't work well because uses Max legacy camera.
Would be nice to have a stereo native vray physical camera rig

    Best regards.

We have a small helper that causes V-Ray to render two side-by-side views; it works with any kind of camera. Not sure if it would go into the next build or not, but we'll see.

      Hi Vlado,

Are there still plans to include this?

The source code for this is actually included with the V-Ray SDK for SP4, although it is not compiled to a binary form. I can try to do that along with the bump2normal plugin.

Which version of V-Ray do you have? It works for SP3/SP3a/SP4/SP4a only.

                      Best regards,

Ok; which folder did you copy the file to?

                          Best regards,

if you look at the error message he copied it into the root plugins folder. Does it need to go into the vrayplugins folder maybe?

just confirmed it worked fine after making sure it was put into the vrayplugins folder.
