Tnks for the reply Vlado. I still need to study this more.

btw, when I do a deepcrop, to crop an image based on deep channel, there are a lot of aliasing issues, altough it works. Is there any workaround for less aliasing? Tnks

Technically it should be possible; V-Ray stores min/max z-depth values that should allow Nuke to produce a better result. I'm not sure why it doesn't do that.

      Best regards,

First of All, Thank you for the great new feature Vlado!! I really appreciate it.

I think the V-Ray Deep Pixel looks really great. But I am not sure that I am using it correctly. Need to test it more.
Here is the simple test image for V-Ray Deep Pixel. Please let me know if I made a mistake or need to know something else.

It would help if you can explain a bit what you are trying to achieve

Thank you for your kindness Vlado.

I just want to make sure the connection things between V-Ray Deep Pixel Data and the deep nodes for Nuke, because I've got the information for Deep Data from prman first and there are some differences.
V-Ray Deep Pixel Data have all data like deep data and render elements in a .vrst, so that it is much easier to use, so don't need the deep data which is prman's one.
Everything looks working great so far. And how amazing V-Ray Deep Pixel Data can take care about Fluids from Phoenix FD as well!!!

              Thanks a lot!!

              Best Regards,

                Simple test with Yeti.

Seperate 3 objects using V-Ray Deep Pixel Data. And change the color for each of the objects.

BTW, there is one problem with DeepTransform node. If I tried to move one of them to x or y by DeepTransform node, Nuke crash.

                Thank you.

                    Thank you very much Vlado.

I got a small problem. The Deep Pixel's one is a little bit brighter than the other image which doesn't have the deep pixel data. Is it normal?

Hm, in the V-Ray VFB they look the same. Is it possible to get me the Nuke file for this?

                      Best regards,
                      Vlado

If I move the middle slide bar in the V-Ray VFB, I can feel the differences. But it is hard to feel it with the still image.
I sent an e-mail to you with the files because it is bigger than 20MB. If you need anything else, please feel free to let me know.

                        Thank you very much.

Hi Sersia, I have the same problem with the DeepTransform node. Tried both 6.3v5 and the latest 6.3v7, same problem. Sometimes it works in one axis, but usually it crash directly when adjusting one of the axis.

I'm afraid this might be up to the Nuke guys to fix; once the .vrst reader does its job, the data is handled entirely by Nuke.

                            Best regards,

So the DeepTransform problem is fixed now; you can find an updated version of the Nuke plugin from the same link as the original.

Thank you Vlado. It is working very well now.
BTW, I think that the vigetting effect caused the other problem. I sent an e-mail to you with a simple test scene file as well.

                                Thanks a lot.
