  • Cancel during Compiling Geometry (Displacement)

Just a quick one - it would be very good to be able to cancel after you hit Render, during the initial Compiling geometry displacement calculation. Many times during testing you'll use too high values and it will fill up all your RAM and crash/freeze max. If you could hit Cancel during this process if you see your RAM usage climbing too high, this would be very beneficial.

Second that. Not only during displacement but high level subdivisions also.
    A.

Perhaps at *any* phase during rendering. I'm guessing this is not a simple thing to implement, as max itself has very few proper interrupts available to the user.
