  • Right click on spinners: Reset to 0 instead of default values

    Okay,
a new thread because this annoys the hell out of me. Can we change the behaviour of right clicking spinners back to the standard that has been there for the whole lifetime of V-Ray and 3dsMax? This should always set the spinner to 0.
This applies to blend amount in VrayBlendMTL, the dynamic memory limit, render time in progressive sampler and other places.
Right now, V-Ray must be the only plugin in 3dsMax where this is handled differently, for some obscure reason I don't understand.

Edit: Just found out that this has been corrected for the dynamic memory limit and render time with 3.5.04.
However, the blend material amount is still affected by this.

It is rather weird that it was implemented this way instead of adding an additional shortcut (ctrl+rmb or any other modifier key) It has never been a 'value reset' it has always been '0', so it's changing the purpose of a different function instead of adding a new 'reset feature'
Now you have to remember, oh right, this is vray dialogue not 3ds max, that's why it doesn't work. Another thing to try and remember all the time, especially after years and years of rmb=0 conditioning that is muscle memory by now.

Just to bring this up again:

Right clicking a spinner has to reset it to it's minimum possible value. See below:

Yes +1 here, the new behaviour is very frustrating!
Set V-Ray class properties en masse with the VMC script
