Uh oh... Pretty urgent: Multiple (different kinds of) proxies are not working. I've got two types of chairs saved as proxies, however Vray renders all of my proxy objects as the same chair, though they're clearly specified as different in the Proxy panel.

StompinTom, i think i fix this about a week ago - are u using the latest exporter? update exporter (not build but exporter) manually.

                  Fixed Thanks!

The update did something to texture gamma as well... Nevermind, I see where you can toggle 'input gamma'. I'll keep on testing!

can we use blenders ''hide'' and ''hide render'' function to hide an object from rendering in vray?

d_boy, isn't it easer to try than to wait an answer on forum? =) "Restrict render" works.

                        Andrey,

Certain textures and colors are rendering differently with the most recent update. I notice you added the Input Gamma back to the tonemapping controls and there is the option to override it for each texture. What was it set to before? Some of my colors are coming out brighter than expected too... Is there a way to mimic the previous setup? If not I'll have to switch back to the older script to finish a project, as it's now giving me a different output between progress renderings :S

Also, soft edges/shadows for IES lights no longer seems to be working. I had a feathered falloff before which now is crisp, even with the shadow radius set above 0.

This is probably blenders bug but maybe it can be solved in the future:
In 2.49b Render>Output Tab I Could choose path where render will be saved and its name, then i could choose to not overwrite the file so blender was adding numbers to another renders(it was very useful when searching for best setup).
In 2.55 Internal (I only tested on vb/internal) its probably broken at all.
In vb 2.55 it saves to destination path but uses own name that cant be changed. Cant disable overwriting and always renders are with the same filename.
Maybe saving to disk could be independed from "image to blender" ?

so i have been reading that you can not copy/paste vray materials over figures because of blender.

is there any news if they will change this so that your script will support it?
