              • Great job bdancer! That´s a lot of work. This makes the waiting time for V-Ray 3 for Maya on mac even harder But it will be worth the waiting

                  I need to test the advanced node material for a current project, Do you think you could give a win 64 build away?

                  (i'm stuck because I need to add two material, one with a bump map and the other one without, and it doesn't work currently)

                    • in fact, I have three issues:
                      1. bump map seems to have no effects on layered material
                      2. material node doesn't have a bump map input
                      3. SSS is not available in nodes material

                      a simple file : bump_layered_mat.zip

                            Nice! I'd like to see how you did that too. I've done similar with proxy and particles, but I'd love to learn more about how to use the random particle material.

                            • I'm testing the new custom build from ChaosGroup, and i saw that you changed some UI like Material panel.

                              It's my opinion, but i prefer the old version
