Hey bibin_thomas,
TexOutput is used internally in 3ds Max by the parameters in the Output rollout of textures. We had to add a TexOutput node because it was used by some Cosmos assets and they couldn't be imported. Note that due to an oversight currently you can create the node yourself, however, its usage is discouraged and TexOutput will be hidden in the future and only used by Cosmos/vrscene import.

I would LOVE to finally see node material connection in the displacement tag. We've been waiting for the implementation for years. In a previous post someone mentioned that they are really close and want to add the new feature with the next hotfix. I wouldn't mind if the displacement tag stayed but let me have an option to drive it form my material node setup.
This is such a PIA to rebuild shaders for every material. i wish for it to be implemented as soon as possible, and i was really hoping that this node was for this purpose.
