  • AO with GPU

Is there a work around to producing an AO dirt pass with GPU or do we have to just render twice?

              No Vray7 yet.

I had the same AO problem a year ago.

Could you explain this workflow a bit further? VRayExtraTex seems to work with GPU and VRay Dirt out of the box for me:

Maybe different for MAX but for Maya it doesnt work without turning off "As Inclusive Set".

Sorry I overlooked this important point that this is actually the Maya forum. Apologies again and thanks for the reply.

No worries Vladimir, So would this be a bug then?
I couldnt find anything about it in the docs.

There is something going on. The default setup does not work with V-Ray GPU. I had to disable the "as inclusive set" like you mentioned. I will dig more into this and get back to you.
