    Soooooo, I just turned off the HT on one of my machines...and the fur look is drastically different from when the HT is on....I'm still checking but looks like there is a major issue there

          yeah I was almost at the panic mode there for a few minutes, turned out just before I left last night, I upped the fur count value, I meant to put in 150,000 but ended up with 1,500,000 Ram went through the roof, look changed I was like Nooooooo!

            I was wondering if this change will be a part of the update for VRay 2.5 (2.4?) for Maya? It would be amazing.


            (By the way, how is that version going, is that bug still being a pain?)

                Unfortunately no. But you'll probably be able to test this in one way or another soon.

                I think we solved most of the issues now; the 3ds Max builds are done and once they are on the site, we'll focus on the Maya builds.

                  That's interesting! Can you elaborate a bit more or is it still in the planning stages? (I am assuming you mean an option for EDU users)
