mudbox to vray exporter

    Hello,
    since both the preview mesh and the render mesh can be shown in the viewport and I don't know which one you refer to as "viewport mesh", I'll answer for both.
    Render mesh: The proxy has an option tab called "Restore the mesh". From there you can get the render mesh the way it was in mudbox.
    Preview mesh: No. (Long version: The idea of the preview mesh is "A low polygon representation(or placeholder) of the render mesh", so it being treated as a seperate mesh hasn't been considered.)

      im talking about the "A low polygon representation(or placeholder) of the render mesh" and only asking for "not triangulate" it...
      there is no need for a seperate mesh... its just the triangulation that bothers me...

                is there a place where we could find the exporter ouside this thread.? i get asked a lot about this tool. its gaining more and more attention.

                      Will deformation of a low level be supported in the future?

                      Also, FYI, Krum has made very good progress on the level-of-detail rendering, so hopefully we will be able to show some results soon.

                            How does the proxy LOD system work...?
                            do we need a new vray version or is this supported allready..?
                            i cant find it in the docs...

                              The LOD system is still in development, there are no official releases with it yet.
