Looks like if i use parent scope the Looks does not go under the flower geo.

Arnold is doing the same but can render the data.

      Hi oglu,

In theory, the hierarchy shouldn't make any difference. The USD graph/file should define a material binding for the geo and it should just work.
Can you get me the USD file and a Maya scene with the Bifrost graph for this? (I'm assuming this is Bifrost after watching the video. The download link gets me a json that probably needs your new custom bifrost node?)

In pure maya its the same. If you export with a parent scope and create a new USD stage with maya it wont render the material.

If your asset uses textures with relative paths, you'll need to change the working directory to the root of the relative path. Maybe this was the problem?
If you have the usd files as ascii (or the maya scene that created the USD graph) it would be easier to tell what was happening.
Good to know it's working, but I don't really have an idea why it wasn't working before re-installing. If it was just the textures that didn't load - it might be an issue with relative paths.

I downloaded it, but the Maya scene did not contain the Bifrost Graph.
Where is the USD originating from?

I exported it from Maya. Just Export selected.
I do an other upload with the Bifrost file on Discord.
