  • 2D Displacement and edge tex not working in GPU mode?

    Is this right? Or is it a bug? At the GPU feature list I don't find a note.

    The edges texture should work fine generally. 2D displacement is currently in development internally and there are some initial results already in the nightly builds. Until it is ready, you can maybe use 3D displacement instead.

      Hi Vlado,

      at VfR the edge texture doesn't work for displacement if the GPU mode is used. If I switch to CPU mode, than the 2D displacement works, but not the normal displacement. Do you mean edge tex + normal displacement + GPU should work? Is there a bug at VfR?

        Using Edges texture for displacement is not something I'd recommend.
        I believe there is no way this could work correctly.

        If I switch to CPU mode, than the 2D displacement works
        Can you please share an image of the effect you're after?

          I thought I could get real fillets by using edge displacement instead bump.
