Same problems here (we are on 3DSMAX but it seems we got the same issues),
We do a LOT of jewelery and watches at the studio,
Since we are swapping from CPU to GPU, we have to find many workaround.

We miss a lot the "all channel" option for the AOV with the possibility to have mask behind refractive glasses and other refractive stuff (diamonds, gemstone etc.) and the other topic I've bumped recently about the AOV not going through VrayBlendMat.

Jewelery and watch is a lot about compositing passes (each material, each part got his own mask)
I know those fix are known and already in devellopement, I'm just pushing (a little) about the need we have around those issue.

Thanks again to the devs and the forum team again for the great work,
    Best,
    Nicolas

      Hi nicolas_fuminier

Both requests are near the top of the current priority list, the tasks are quite complicated on the development side. We will get there eventually
I will message here when I have more information

Muhammed_Hamed How are you guys looking for a fix on this? It's been about 4 months now since the last update and having this feature is important.

Thanks so much for your teams efforts!

            Hi Muhammed_Hamed,

I've just checked the 6.00.20 patch note (I still don't own the Vray 6 upgrade)

            V-Ray GPU
            • GPU support for Affect All Channels;
Is that new feature related to :
            - Multimatte / Mask ID thought glass ?
            - Mask ID thought VrayBlendMat ?

            Thanks,
            Nicolas

              Hi Nicolas,

              yes, this is fixed

But the Mask ID through BlendMaterial is a complex issue, it needs more research

                Hi Muhammed_Hamed

I'm sorry to bump this topic but we are dying at the studio to get Mat ID from Vrayblend Mat. This is so frustating to miss this feature will the engine is crazy interesting in so many other topics.
I know you are working on it, I know this is a complex subject, I was just wondering if we can get a little teasing about any news on the subject.
(i'm sorry, the topic diverted from the orignal question, I might have to create a new topic for this specific question)

                Best,
                Nicolas

                  Hi nicolas_fuminier

Thanks for the feedback as always, I understand how this could be problematic to your workflow
The issue with VrayBlendMtl and ID elements is deep and complicated. The Devs attempted to fix multiple times in the past
It is high on the current priority list, and needs research to be addressed. I will message you if we have updates on this topic

                    Hello

Is it resolved for vray for sketchup and vray for rhyno.

This is a real serius issue that does not help in anything, with vray 6.1 is this issue gone??

Can i composite with RE a garden even if a have a glass material with refraction properties?

Those RE goes beyond a refraction material like glass??

I believe for vray for 3d max and maya is resolved

But for vray for sketchup and vray for rhyno???

Take this issue very serius chaos group i didnt forget about that.

                      Hello,

I will check with my colleagues if this fix is in the current builds for SketchUP and get back to you

I can confirm the fixes are ported to V-Ray for Sketchup, in the same way it works in 3Ds Max and Maya now
Please test and let me know if you face any issue
