Is it possible to take a scene with many objects and groups and save it as a VRscene to render in SketchUp? OR do you need to make everything one mesh, like when you export a proxy?

That is the difference between proxy and the vrscene..

And that's what I thought, but I am exporting an Evermotion tree in Max using VRScene into SketchUp and the leaves are not showing up. The trunk and the leaves are 2 separate groups, the trunk renders in SketchUp and the leaves do not. Now, if I attach the leaves to the trunk and make a single mesh in Max, then I re-export VRScene, it renders in SketchUp now.

      Here's a quick screen cap -

Nice tip.. But if you make all objects in the scene attached, then it will be the same as the way proxy works.. There should be another issue for your scene i think..

But what I am trying to say is, this is a bug, no? Shouldn't you be able to export any scene, regardless of grouping, and get it to render in SketchUp? Wasn't that the whole idea of VRScene?
