I use LWF when I render interiors. I find that using this type of color mapping along with saving out to EXR and post processing allows for levels of adjustment not possible using other methods.

i understand what has been explained in 3dsmax. what i want to know is with vray sketchup. before as i still remember the very first vray sketchup version you also have to change the texture gamma of materials when creating a vrayli. but then with next versions you dont have to do that. i have the assumption that vraysu automatically convert the material gamma when color mapping are defaulted with 2.2 in both gamma and input gamma. therefore you dont have to worry about this like in Vraymax.
