    Hi Muhammed,
I guess you meant "1" RTX 8000 is exactly as "2" Titan RTX, correct?
Because I dont think the performance of "1" Titan RTX perform exactly the same as a "1" RTX 8000.
Starting from th difference between 24GB and 48GB

    Im just curious

Here is the GPU benchmark of RTX 8000, roughly 380 or so
      https://benchmark.chaosgroup.com/nex...000+49152MB+x1

And here is the Benchmark of RTX Titan, roughly 370-380
I have 2 of these myself, together they score 800
      https://benchmark.chaosgroup.com/nex...RTX+24576MB+x1

As you can see the 2 GPUs are identical in performance, we are not taking about VRAM here..
VRAM doesn't affect benchmarks or GPU rendering performance(as long as you don't hit the VRAM ceiling)

I have one Titan XRT, so a second would de the key before I looked at anything new.

          Hi Muhammed,
          Hi Bobby,

I cant believe that 1 TITAN RTX hits the Quadro RTX 8000 for GPU Renderings.
          Is even cheaper

Thank you guys for your comments.
This leads me to buy a TITAN RTX

I really appreciate A LOT your comments !
          HUGE THANK YOU !

One note I will love to leave here.

The TITAN RTX cards I will buy - will be used only for GPU Rendering, cause I dont think the TITAN RTX will perform greater than the Quadro RTX 8000 using Phoenix.

This will be the next Test I will need to do on the TITAN RTX + Phoenix Simulation.

            @ Muhammed,
Since you use Houdini ... have you had ever made any hard-test-simulation using the 2 TITANs ? Did you have experienced any issue with heavy particles simulation ?

My current machine was original $15,000, but I snagged it for $5000. It has been a stellar player for 4+ years, however, the motherboard was replaced twice and the hard drive twice. I had a four-year warranty, which has expired. I am hearing a clunking sound, which is worrying me, so I am looking for a replacement. I am thinking of an RTX 3990X and a second Titan RTX I don't think I need 128Gb of RAM as I have in this one; I have never come close to needing it. Now, I need to find a motherboard that supports the 3990X and two Titans.

Yup so that you can use NVlink between your 2 cards, it is quite helpful

I replied to you in the other thread, stick to the parts I listed..specially for cooling and memory, they will make your life easier

About Mobo, it is not a big deal usually as long as you don't buy a cheap entry board. I recommended a few in the thread

                  NK YOU !
You are welcome, this is been always the case with Quadros. They are priced for a different market
Some of the beafy 2080 supers, can catch up with the RTX 8000 in perfromance
                  For only 800 Euros ..

Could look for a 3090 if you can find one, it is double the performance of a Titan RTX .. and it is supposed to be cheaper
Otherwise, you might fight good deals on Titan RTXs right now.. for under 2k, which should be ok (as it is quite hard to find the new cards anywhere)

                  The Titans have been great!
I also have access to the RTX 8000, any crashes will happen on both machines really. Quadros don't crash less

Well I guess I need to test the TITANs my own and see what happens.
I have experience with Quadros and it is time to have a look into other cards.
Lets see how tht TITANs works.

Thank you for all the good information.

                    Cheers !
