  • Can Vray GPU use Turbosmooth's render time subdivision levels when rendering?

I noticed that Vray GPU uses only the viewport subdivision levels of the Turbosmooth modifier while with Vray CPU Vray always renders the render time subdivision levels. Can I make Vray GPU also use the render time levels? I can't afford to have the viewport subd levels enabled in the viewport since it's slowing it down.

You are referring to the "Render Iters", correct? They seem to work fine on a simple scene when rendered with V-Ray GPU. Is that not the case on your end?

Ah, it concerns IPR. IPR takes whatever is seen in the viewport when rendering with V-Ray GPU. We are aware of the issue, however, it is a delicate matter and is not trivial to resolve.

Oh, I see. Thanks for the explanation. Is there a workaround for this? Maybe I can use a script that changes the Turbo Smooth render iterations on all objects in the scene with one click? I think there was one in the Soulburn scripts pack.
