  • Vray GPU Bump + Diffuse Falloff issues

    Hello! =D

I got some new GPUs and decided to get back into Vray after some time using Corona. When
Vray GPU is generating some really strange airtfacts when I use a falloff map and a bump map. Here's a comparison so you can see what's going on (sorry for the contrast difference - didn't had the patience to convert all the color correction values)

As you can see, Corona has a way higher bump map and no surprises with the falloff map imdependly of camera distance. On the other hand, Vray GPU has a lower bump effect and the falloff goes crazy if zoom in.

Any idea of what's going on?

    Thanks!

Could you send the scene to support@chaosgroup.com so we can take a look?

Thanks for the provided scene. The difference in the bump shading derives from the difference in the handling of bump textures and their multipliers by the renderers (the values do not correspond to one another), so it's hard to accurately compare them. Could you elaborate on what exactly do you mean by 'goes crazy if I zoom in'?
