This is fixed in our internal builds, if you have access to nightly builds you can test the fix or please Email me for a build
Otherwise this will be pushed in a hotfix very soon

    Sorry about the inconvenience

    Best,
    Muhammed
Thanks Muhammed. Any update about the motion blur issue when using the GPU with the 6.1 build?

      Hi,

This fix should be included in the latest stable build available here:
      https://nightlies.chaos.com/main#/vr...e_6.1/20230301

You can download it and make a test.

Hello unfortunately using the latest versions this problem has come out again. On rendering sequences of 200 frames when it gets to about frame 130 the rendering starts to slow down until it occupies all the video memory. Even stopping the rendering and restarting it does not solve it. The only way is to restart 3ds max. In task manager you can see that the video memory remains full even when the rendering is stopped. I am using V-Ray 6 update 2.1 (6.20.07 build 32791) in RTX mode. This problem is also present in previous versions. I do not know if it can be attributed to the Nvidia drivers (565.90 same problem also with the previous version) or windows 11 update. It happens with any scene even without textures.

Could you please try with the CUDA engine? is it any better?
We will take a look immediately
              Are you using TYflow?
We need a scene to reproduce on our side.

              Best,
              Muhammed

Thanks for your reply. In this scene I am not using TyFlow but it is installed in my 3ds max (1.11.
In the meantime I will do a test with CUDA.
The scene has a purchased model so can I share it privately? How can I do it?
                Thanks

Thanks I sent you the email now.
Meanwhile I confirm that using CUDA works well.

I want to chime in and say that I'm experiencing memory issues (RAM related) when I'm doing batch renders via 3dsmaxbatch.exe using V-Ray GPU as the rendering engine. More details here:
                      https://forums.chaos.com/forum/v-ray...ssive-sampling

How can I fix the issue?

the issue im having and im pretty sure this wasnt the case in vray6 is that the ram is getting held after a render stops. In these screenshots, i have the same scene in 3 opened 3dsmax scenes and GPUz showing the ram usage of my render card. (not display) First image (pre_render_ram.jpg) is before rendering, second (post_render_01_ram.jpg) is the ram after stopping the first render, and so on. So after all rendering is stopped you can see my gpu ram usage is stuck at 14gig.

                        Is this to be expected?

If you're using RTX, it's probably this.

Send the scene so we can investigate. Include info about your installed driver, GPU card, host platform and V-Ray versions.
