Are translucent materials in the Vrayscans library? I couldn't see them in the download area but have seen a video showing this as available.

edit: actually there are many fabrics in the library that are translucent, but apparently they are not tagged as translucent, for example this one https://download.chaosgroup.com/vrsc...ic-blue-perf-s______________________________________________

I was very interested in the ability to use Vrayscans for leaf materials as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxbY8cKRqK8

I think it's doable, we have two translucent material types, "flat" - like leafs, fabrics and other sheet-like materials, and volumetric - like translucent plastic, wax, resin...
The volumetric translucent mode is exactly what you need, it behaves like the SSS Vray materials, but with all the benefits of the vrscans. I will try to dig out some images to show how it looks

It's 2d mapped only, but for translucent materials the result is pretty good, because you can't see throught them, they are not transparent.
Our devices are designed to capture translucency, not transparency, except near to full transparency (to handle the materials with holes).
But no need to guess, we just can try to scan a slice of lemon and see the result______________________________________________
