If you saw my “bad geometry” post, this is the project. It ended up that they only wanted a view that didn’t actually require the entire site.

looking good!!! the glass is looking very good too

nice, looks good!

I’ll have to PS the bushes a little more.

Here is another view

id love to see that second shot extended wayyy up into the canopy of the foreground trees and sky. i think it would be much more atmosheric. at the moment the building is definitely too close to the top of the image, but rather than just adding a bit on, why not go crazy and double the image height. you might get too much perspective distortion if you go too far of course, depends on the fov. it will frame the building really nicely imho.

YES! I lowered the camera to try to pull that off, but I’ll try to raise the height.

I pulled the target way up.

nicer, but i was imagining a portrait image.. just like the first (i like the grass verge) , but with another 100-150% of render above the house, looking up through the tree canopy into the sky.

easy to do, just take your original camera, and adjust the render res/aspect until its really tall, then do a crop cutting off all the extra at the bottom.

edit-as i said you may have issues with perspective distortion at the top, but worth trying.

Okay, one more stab at it; I have to actually work, too

I know the client will not want the view; she said that it looks like it’s going to slide down the hill (the first iteration I posted of this view). However, I like it!

another view

better than the other one but the tree in front of view of the house is very distracting

i liked it. i thought it framed it nicely.

I nudged it over a tad.

much better!!! i like it

This is the most frustrating part of the business, for me, which is no feedback for a week. To me, the buy a block of my time, so fast feedback is necessary. I haven’t heard back, however I did spend a little time and widened the view a tad.

much nicer.. let the nature in

I agree… I spent all the time modeling the site, which the view they picked it didn’t matter, I decided to show some more love to the green.

Your quality have skyrocket over the past few months, I geuss that is what happens when you go on your own. But man, this tree in the foreground, upper left, you’ve been using it a lot in your recent renders. That tree seriously bugs me, looks flat and lacks contrast. Either use a different tree, change the leave maps, or photoshop and actual tree for the foreground.
…well in my opinion anyways.

The rest looks awesome, although a little cold

Thanks. Yes, I have had complaints about that tree close up several times.
