I’ve being playing with RT for few hours, next day when i actived it and it remains black, I checked the license(it’s there) everything is running as it should be.
any idea? (I’m not using DR yet)

Do you get any error message in the ActiveShade window?

Vlado, the activeShade windows says “waiting for image data”

under Vray RT render server (local) says
“error” Failed to start network server" Failed to open listening port<10048>"

I’ve checked Render Servers and it’s empty…early today i got different error there with different port, I don’t remember the port but it was 2xxxx

The error (failed to open listening port) means that there is already another instance of the RT render server running.

If you registered the RT render server as a Window service, just make sure that it runs with your normal user login and it should be fine.

I re installed it, the only service that i have is VRLService after that I checked my licenses after that i created a very simple scene I still get the same window “waiting for image data…”

Ok then, do you have the “Auto-start local slave” option enabled in the RT “Render servers” dialog? If yes, do you see a vray.exe process in the Windows Task Manager?
