Hey,
The problem is with the maya camera when “Pan Zoom Enabled” is checked. Vray doesnt seem to take this into account and renders the camera as normal.
anyone else find that?,

Yes, it’s not supported yet.
in “Film Back” is pre scale and film translate supported?
yes they are. I use them quite a lot. Just be careful when using RT, if you change a parameter in the physical camera (if you use it), the camera will ignore it. Only with RT. It also goes back to use it when you relaunch RT.
the problem is that your are previewing using the Resolution gate. When using the resolution gate the camera overscan get set at 1.3 which Vray ignores. So that why your render looks different (as it has an overscan of 1).
Ah nice one Yannick! T’is all making sense now ![]()
Hi,
Have you reported this problem before?
Do you have the exact/detailed steps to reproduce?
Looking at our issues tracker, I cannot see any records for such bugs, so I’ll be happy if you report them.

Hi Teodor,
I think it was mentioned on the forum, some time ago.
To reproduce, set a camera with a physical camera attribute, change the prescale or/and the film translate.
Render it, all fine. RT it, should be still the same image, but if you change a parameter in the physical camera like the ISO for example, the image (in RT) will change and the camera prescale and/or film translate gets ignored, shifting the image.
Cheers,
Yannick
Understood, thank you for reporting this.
We’ve logged it in our bug tracker, so it won’t be forgotten.
