Can't render with Ultra HD

Hey, guys,

So I bought a new laptop, with NVidia Graphics RTX2060, 16gb RAM and 200GB SSD + 1TB memory. Using Enscape for Sketchup in this machine, everytime I try to render a scene with Ultra HD size or higher my Enscape crashes. Can someone help me, please?

Thanks!

Hi @zcunhalucas , the issue you experienced is pretty surely due to insufficient VRAM. Currently, the usage of RTX and the optimized reflections that come with it require a lot more VRAM than before. In this case, what we recommend is to render images with a lower resolution and/or keep an overall eye on your project size.

We are working on optimizing memory usage in regards to textures and reflections and hope to be more memory efficient in general for Enscape 2.7, our next upcoming release.

In the meantime, if this issue affects your workflow, you might consider downgrading to an earlier version of Enscape since RTX support is disabled in those versions.

To make very sure, you can also gladly please send in a dedicated feedback report with your logfiles so that we can tell you 100% what this is caused by, as mentioned, it’s pretty surely a VRAM issue, especially if your graphics card drivers are up to date.
