Change Path to .vrscene

Is there a way to change the path to the .vrscene inside of Vantage? I have a Vantage file that’s pointing to a .vrscene on a onedrive desktop and that path will not work on another network computer… I can’t find anywhere to change the path to the .vrscene.

I’ve also submitted a request through my chaos account thingy.

I want to change that path to a network location and or point to it locally

Hi rusteberg,

When loading a .vantage file if the scene associated with it is not at the specified destination, then Vantage starts looking for it in the folder and sub-folders where the .vantage file is located. Additionally you can change the path to that .vrscene if you edit the .vantage file, with Notepad for example. Search for root_filename and replace the string with the correct path.

Thanks Alexander. Martin in support suggested the same thing with notepad, etc… The reason I asked is because the .vrscene IS in the same folder as the vantage file.

… On another note, Vantage 2.0 is freakin awesome! Just used it for client review and they were stoked to see everything in real time. Thanks for all the effort that went into this!!! Looking forward to seeing this product develop over time -T
