Hi all.
I was just wondering if the coloured shadows for both sunlight and artificial light works on a Mac.
I have played around a bit but with no success. Is this just a Windows function?
I cannot find any tip on this.
Grateful for any answers.

Hi @black_square and welcome to our Forum.
At the moment this is one of the (ray-tracing) features only available on Windows based systems. While I cannot share any specific plans in regards to ray-tracing support in Enscape for Mac yet, please feel free to forward this inquiry of yours as a feature request via our Chaos Enscape Ideas Portal as well just so product management can track the further demand for this too.

I could be wrong, but I think many of the hardware raytracing features are using libraries provided by Nvidia.
Apple don’t have any machines with Nvidia hardware and therefore none of Nvidia’s software components are produced for Mac.
So you might be waiting until Apple and Nvidia kiss and make up and then you’d need to buy a compatible machine.
It must not be nvidia-only libraries. Work is going on, stay tuned
