Hi!
As I do a lot of yacht rendering I’m always struggeling with the following:
When using the Volume effect in the corona sky, the edge of the water turns to this purple / magenta color. Changing the ground color to a more blue tone helps a bit but the purple color is still visible. It is offcourse an easy fix in photoshop, but I’m wondering if there is a permanent fix for this.
Also, when rendered in vray with the aerial perspective activated there is no purple haze visible and looks more like it should.
Thanks!
May also be either ‘colour settings’ or ‘output transform’…
It’s just standard framebuffer settings. no luts applied or other ‘colour settings’. Or in what way can ‘colour settings’ or ‘output transform’ affect this specific part of the image without affecting anything else as the images render perfectly except for that edge.
attached two crops with just standard material and no displacement applied.
Hi,
We have pink tint and other volume effect color related reports.
Unfortunately it has not been yet fixed, we will surely let you know once it is done.
I have bumped the priority internally.

Indeed, w/ C4D too.
PS
Rawa-fake + the Box w Volume

Hi Redemeer,
We had started a ticket with you to investigate this further but there was no reply. We can look into this further if you can share the information we asked in the ticket #475175.
