Custom Orientation issues

Hi,

I was curious to know if the custom orientation in the sun settings is relative to the north green axis in sketchup? Or is it relative to the camera/scene view?

Could someone please explain this in detail?

Hello,
V-Ray custom sun orientation settings are derived from the SketchUp project coordinate system and are intentionally not presented as the world directions. This is also the reason why in the Asset editor these settings are labeled as horizontal and vertical angles, not by azimuth and altitude.
The sun orientation widget in the Asset editor is used to override the SketchUp sun orientation to allow an alternative method of manipulation via angle values instead of time, date and geo location.
