different noise in environmentfog

Hi,

fog is great, but noise close to lights is much more then rest of the image. Its pretty annoying. I made a simple test, so you can see. Is there anything we can do? In progressive or RT GPU, I just let render image longer, but in bucket mode, its pretty hard to clean this. Even with very high settings its not clean well.

The intensity of the light near the light source is the highest which make that place more sensitive for the Image Sampler.
Higher Image Sampler settings should be able to deal with that noise, I just did a quick test and I can confirm that default render settings give very smooth result around the light sources.
Can you attach that scene so I could check what’s going on?

Except for using higher settings there isn’t much to do right now unfortunately. It’s an area that we have to improve.
