I often find that Enabling Lens Effects/Glare can dramaticaly slow down the IPR rendering when using GPU. Could there be an additional tickbox to disable Lens Effects during IPR rendering?

You can turn off lens effects from the VFB. If you look at the layer stack there should be a lens effect layer that you can toggle the visibility of and also disable it completely from the options. Is that not enough for your use case? Can you give us more details? Thanks in advance!
