Enscape for Sketchup - Invalid Licence - Can't open post install - Mac

Hi,

I recently purchased a licence for Enscape to use as a plugin for Sketchup on my Mac.

Some preliminary info: I have the latest Mac OS, the latest SketchUp, and downloaded the latest Enscape for Mac through my registered login account.

I have previously installed a trial version of Enscape on this same computer about a year ago, and not sure if there is any residual marker related to my device, either from SketchUp or Enscape, however in my extension manager, it says I have an invalid signature. In my Chaos account settings it says it “could not locate Chaos Unified Login service”.

If i try and open Enscape it come up with a licence notice, however the “sign in” link does nothing when clicked, as though it isn’t activated. the adjacent “chaos Documentation Website” link however does work. This is despite checking I am signed in on my Chaos account.

I have contacted customer support everyday now for the last three days, and the only response to my initial request was to “download latest version from my login, and let them know if I still experienced the same issue”. I did all this, tried uninstalling and downloading again to make sure nothing has changed and replied.

The next response the following day noted I needed to log a new ticket. I did, and also requested if the ticket could be merged. Reply again came the following day with absolutely no response to my initial request for support. Conscious that due to location, there is an unavoidable delay in response, however some advice or acknowledgment would be appreciated.

If anyone has had any similar issues and can offer a solution that would be great! Screenshots attached below for reference.

Update. I seem to have got it working. When uninstalling, I had to Uninstall the Chaos License Server, then Chaos Unified Login, and THEN Enscape. all three seperately. Not sure if its possible to request for next update, but I would have thought by selecting to uninstall Enscape, it would uninstall everything needed to remove it from your system.

Hey @Studio_F

I’m sorry to hear about the troubles you went through there.

Good to know you could eventually fix it. Just so you know, I noticed in your screenshots that you had not, in fact, installed the latest version of Enscape.

We’ve released Enscape 4.1.1.35 on Sep 25th, and we’ve ironed out a lot of the initial hick ups with that release.

Still, if everything is working for you now, of course you can leave it as is. You can always find the latest version by logging in here: https://enscape3d.com/download/
