Error message

V-Ray V-Ray for 3ds Max Issues

I rendered this file on Fri and it was fine. Today I press render and it crashes right as lightcache calc starts. Attached is the error message (this seems to happen a lot I render one day and its fine - come back to the file the next day and its no good.)

Latest vray sp4, max 2010 sp1.

Now I merged this into a new scene and it seems ok but I swear this happens very consistently.

Do you have region rendering selected in the V-Ray frame buffer?

Yes apparently I do is that a no-no?

And re-rendered unchecking that makes it render fine.

It may happen if you had a larger resolution originally but then reduced it so the region is outside the image.
