Running WinDirStat on one of our workstations recently I noticed a significant chunk of the C: drive consumed by Enscape content - specifically .ewf files. Okay, they’re in Temp. so not the biggest of concerns, but I’m asking since I’m just a little curious what they are…?
When running an Enscape standalone, the geometry data and textures are extracted to temp in order to be read from. The ewf files contain the geometry data of the whole model in our internal format.
When you start a standalone a second time, it detects that the data is already extracted and does not do so again. If you clean your temp folder, make sure to NOT clean single files, but only complete EnscapeStandalone_… folders. Otherwise it is safe to clean them.
