I hate you  Can you share your workflow. Vray CAM/SUN/SKY? LWF?
Very very nice.
1st one is brilliant.
Thanks guys for the nice words… ![]()
Everything is LWF with gamma set to 2.0, color map is reinhard with 0.25 burn value, gamma 2.0. Vray cam and Vray sun is allways used.
Vray sky is used only for 2 exteriors shots (5 and 6 Image), rest is done with vray dome as skylight. Final res was 2000x1333…
Excelent lighting , congrats
Man, you did the job!
*thumbsup* for great renderings and a exellent job!
One thing I want to mention. Maybe your images need a slightly increase on saturation and contrast, but that’s my impression.
excellent quality
Great job, nice quality, I like the interior wood floor, quite well made
I can usually spot a persons disposition to interior or exterior work…but what you have shown of each is equally great! What were the rendertimes like? On what kind of hardware?
Personaly I dont like to see people in Interior renderings, but if client ask…will be fight between us  . It is better to use for Exterior renderings. I allways try to create high quality Images, 3D person is not good enough for me, RPC or 2D Person maybe but can see in reflection, shadow problem,GI, … hm missing something…PS
Really its just my personal opinion…
Rendertime was between 1-2hour for the exterior rendering
and 2-4hour for Interior on Dual Xeon 5160, 6 Gb Ram, XP64, Max 9-64,
Vray 64 bit…
great images !
floor
On that last one your planks all end at the same place… it looks a little strange.
Nice pleasure to hear complimments from some of the best Vray user on Earth
… but my friend had a diferent opinion about this Images.
He sad that Images are not so real, looks like CG than real…I forgot to say that is Maxwell user…
to glorybound: I agree…planks can be litle longer to get over the bricks if is that what you mean
great and clean images indeed ![]()
no worry about you maxwell friend eheh.
Thanks priad for complimments & support ![]()
Just add some noise and a little additional rendertime and your maxwell friend should be happy ![]()
Maxwel
You guys are funny… has anybody seen any good work from the new Metal Ray?
There are a number of mapping/modeling things on the interiors that i can’t get over. The wood floors, for example. You show 3/4 inch, nailed in place, beveled wood flooring that i can see the bevel caught in the sunlight and the bumps that one gets from the pieces being not having the tops exactly flush.
(I know about this because i am currently putting in this kind of wood floor in my house…put a 2.5" nail thru my thumb, longways, when i had to switch from the manual nail gun to the pneumatic gun and when the gun bounced out a second rapid fire nail, my thumb was there to recieve it. I ended up with about a half inch sticking out of the end of the thumb and a half inch sticking out beyond the knuckle…didn’t hurt much going in but coming out was a different story…at the emergency room they didn’t numb it up, they just yanked it out by hand…felt it all the way down to my toes.)
Anyway… the flooring you show is incredibly lifelike…as are some of the other maps you have used.
Nice job of mapping…very nice.
